Medical transcription services are based within the United States. Transcriptionists are assigned to a particular practice and/or physician based on field of specialty and expertise. You will require a digital work station, or .dss/.wav transcription software. Internet capabilities, FTP client software, and ability to encrypt documents. Please read Terms & Conditions prior to submitting your resume. You may e-mail, fax, or mail your resume. Resumes are kept on file for a period of one month. A representative will contact you with information for testing when positions are available. Prior to testing, you will be required to sign confidentiality statements. Please provide the following information: ● Past employment including dates of employment, job description/responsibilities, reason for leaving, and supervisory names and phone numbers. ● Education and training in the specialty for which you are applying, including the names of educational facilities and instructors with contact information, medical fields in which trained, length of training, and any achievements obtained. ● The type of transcription equipment and software, internet capabilities, FTP client software, and encryption capabilities. ● Seeking full-time or part-time position, as well as your available working hours. ● References with contact information. |
